I'm in South Florida for the week enjoying my fourth and final spring break. I've gotten so used to winter and being landlocked that I forgot what it's like living next to the ocean. This week has been a total reliving of everything I had grown up around in Hawaii. The culture is a little different than the mostly oriental culture of Hawaii, but in the same way, it feels like another country. The biggest difference is that you can actually go on a road trip and end up in Georgia or a non-tropical area. It's a nice taste of what's to come when I go visit my Hawaii home this summer.
