Snapchat is going to be around for a little while, and you need to get on board.
I was a Snapchat hater myself early on, because all it was just a stupid picture chat app. There was no meat to it.
Now, it's something special.
If you follow me, you'll know that I make daily videos (vlogs) on Youtube. Snapchat taught me how to make them. How?
In Snapchat, you can piece together what's basically a glorified Powerpoint called a "Story" that disappears after 24 hours. The videos and photos you take are presented in the order they were taken as your day progresses. Often times, people randomize the stuff they put in their story, but for many content creators, they actually present them as a story. (People like Branden Harvey and Gary Vaynerchuk are good at connecting all of these pieces into one story or business lesson)
If you aren't using Snapchat right now, you're missing out. Most of all, it teaches you how to tell a story, which is absolutely pivotal for artists wanting to make money or businesses wanting to market. My vlogs would probably be way more incoherent if I hadn't learned basic lessons from Snapchat first.
If you freelance, if you want to freelance, you need to be using Snapchat DAILY. I'm already seeing results the more I use it and other platforms. Daily content is the key to building an audience. If you aren't making DAILY content, you're losing out. Snapchat is the easiest platform to make daily content for. It takes literally no time out of your day.
SNAPCHAT IS THE FUTURE.
