I haven't posted photos with frequency since 2015 because vlogging every day took all the energy I could muster for anything creative.
After making a video every day, however, a photo-a-day paled in comparison, and what was once slightly difficult became WAY easier. For the past couple weeks, I've been developing rules for my Instagram photos that help making the editing and workflow process much more stream-lined. I'm not looking to try out something new stylistically with each photo, like I used to, I kind of have a "look" now.
Without even thinking about it, I started shooting these "willstills" almost every day. I started looking for shots throughout my day, and I don't know if it's due to going back to daily photography, but coincidentally, my life started feeling balanced again. Turns out making something every day is just part of me, and when I don't do it, something feels like it's missing.
That said, this isn't a formal challenge or anything so if I miss a day, it's not really a big deal. I'd rather post something good than stick to daily.
