This is it for me. Since I was 17, photography has totally consumed my life. I’ve probably tried out every genre and photography job there is at this point, even school photography.
Every few years I enter a different era of artistic interest in photography: My first few years I did a bunch of 365 Projects where I took a photo every day for a year (with each year being a different theme. One was even a video a day for a year, but I only made it 300 days).
For a few years it was The Small Town Photo Project where I traveled to small towns across America and photographed places that were growing but didn’t have many images of the place floating out there.
I’ve chilled out a lot since then, and now I make my living by creating large, custom commercial prints for growing small businesses, and also by creatively collaborating with businesses that I align with.
My current “era” (although I’m not as cool as Taylor Swift) is my first 365 Project in years, only this time, I’m making a Polaroid every day in 2024. More than that, I’ve been really focused trying master story-telling about photography and my photography projects through video, so I’ve been dedicating most of my creative resources to growing my Youtube Channel, Double Negative!
If anything I’ve mentioned applies to you, hit me up! I’d love to connect.
